INSTRUCTOR COURSE

The National FARMEDIC Training Program instructor course is designed to train instructors to teach the following courses: The Instructor Training Program includes classroom work, farm tours, demonstrations, and hands-on extrications using mannequins in real life scenarios. The Instructor Course requires 24 hours of training over two days and all instruction will be provided by National Farmedic faculty.

Upon successful completion of the Instructor course, candidates will then train local responders (fire, rescue and EMS providers) through the 12 hour National FARMEDIC Training Program Provider Course.


Prerequisites for enrollment
  • Active in Fire, Rescue or EMS.
  • Currently instructing in Fire, Rescue or EMS as a recognized Instructor.
  • Sponsored to take this course by your current service or employer.
  • References
  • Knowledge of agricultural practices preferred.

There is a fee associated with the course. Fees include all necessary class materials and breakfasts and lunches. Courses are subject to cancellation for low enrollment and other reasons.
